About the Founder
Brittany Lock
Brittany is a life-long Idahoan whose career has been built on helping people understand complex issues, navigate important conversations, and build meaningful connections.
Beginning in journalism, she learned how to ask thoughtful questions, uncover compelling stories, and communicate complex topics in ways that inform and engage audiences. That foundation continues to shape her work today, bringing clarity, curiosity, and perspective to every project.
After transitioning into strategic communications, Brittany built her career supporting organizations across the natural resource sector, including serving as Vice President of Public Relations for a publicly traded mining company. Her experience spans public relations, investor relations, community engagement, and strategic communications, giving her a practical understanding of the technical, operational, and business considerations that shape complex projects.
This combination of communications expertise and industry experience allows Brittany to bridge the gap between project teams, communities, investors, and the media. She understands both the details behind a project and the importance of communicating those details in a way that is credible, accessible, and meaningful.
Through Lockstep Strategy, Brittany helps organizations build trust, strengthen relationships, and move important conversations forward through thoughtful communication and authentic engagement.
Outside of work, Brittany is an avid runner and marathoner who enjoys exploring Idaho’s trails and spending time with her daughter and rescue pets.
